A local court in Daska extended the physical remand of four suspects in Zahra Qadeer murder case. The suspects, including Sughra Bibi, her daughter Yasmeen, grandson Abdullah, and relative Naveed, were brought to court by the police after their initial remand expired.
The court accepted the police’s request to extend their physical remand. The police were instructed by the court to present the suspects on November 22.
In the meantime, an examination has been conducted on the deceased Zahra Qadeer. Nevertheless, we are still waiting for the forensic report, which is expected to be completed within the next 10 to 15 days.
In Kotli Marlan village, Zahra Qadeer, a mother and 7-month pregnant woman, was killed by her in-laws while praying.
Four years ago, she tied the knot with Qadeer from Kotli Marlan. Her spouse is working overseas and was unreachable by authorities when this terrible crime occurred.
On November 17, Zahra Qadeer’s father, Shabbir Ahmed, disclosed that his daughter’s remains were dismembered into 25 parts and then thrown into sewerage drains.
Shabbir Ahmed, who is a police inspector, stated that four suspects were arrested and confessed to the murder of his daughter.
The father of the deceased woman stated that his daughter was suffocated with a pillow and then dismembered into 25 pieces using a sharp-edged knife and a meat cleaver.

more on Zahra Qadeer murder case, Inspector Shabbir Ahmed mentioned that the body parts were placed in separate bags and disposed of in sewage drains.
The police further informed that the deceased victim Zahra Qadeer, was seven months pregnant when she was murdered by her mother-in-law and sister-in-law.
