Aqib Javed
The PCB stated that Aqib Javed would receive extra duties in the selection committee following the Champions Trophy 2025.
After Gary Kirsten resigned, the PCB chose Jason Gillespie as the temporary coach for the white-ball games during the Australia tour.
Reports indicated that Kristen stepped down from his position due to a disagreement with the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). Allegedly, the conflict arose from the board’s choice to remove the coaching pair’s authority to make selections.
