‘Maryam Ki Dastak’ Expands to 32 Districts Across Punjab

The ‘Maryam Ki Dastak’ program was expanded to 32 districts of the province by the Punjab government on Monday.

Maryam Ki Dastak is a Service-based Initiative by the Chief Minister of Punjab to facilitate the Public in various Government-related tasks. Meanwhile, this article will explain the Maryam Ki Dastak Program alongside its Services, Jobs, and other Functionalities. Under the Maryam Ki Dastak Program, the Punjab Government has launched an App through which citizens can access various services, including Vehicle Registrations, Token Taxes, Domiciles, and Various Certificates.

The programme will be extended as per the instructions of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz. The program now includes Rahim Yar Khan, Vehari, Lodhran, Toba Tek Singh, Layyah, Rajanpur, Nankana Sahib, Chiniot, Gujrat, and Khushab as the 10 new districts added.

Before, Dastak services were offered in key districts such as Lahore, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Multan, and Sargodha. Residents have the option of accessing these services by contacting the hotline at 1202.

Faisal Yousaf, the Chairman of Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB), stated during a progress review meeting in Lahore that the ‘Maryam Ki Dastak’ program is focused on enhancing service delivery via skilled agents, offering a smoother and user-friendly service for citizens.

He emphasized that this program shows the government’s dedication to providing accessible, transparent, and technology-driven public services.

‘Maryam Ki Dastak’ provides more than 65 government services that can be accessed by citizens at their homes, eliminating the requirement to go to government offices and making it more convenient, especially for women, the elderly, and working professionals.

Maryam Ki Dastak Program Register Online 2024

On October 28, Maryam Nawaz Sharif introduced the ‘Kisan Card Programme’ in Hafizabad, offering essential financial aid to small farmers.

Farmers are able to access loans of up to Rs 150,000 per crop season to buy seeds, fertilizers, and pesticides through their Kisan Cards.

During the launch event in Hafizabad, CM Maryam Nawaz revealed that the budget for the initiative has been increased in order to raise the number of Kisan Cards from 500,000 to 750,000.

In addition, CM Maryam Nawaz declared that farmers owning over 25 acres of land would be provided with tractors at no cost. The prime minister announced that she will provide farm equipment to farmers for rent without making any profit.
