Ras Al Khaimah has introduced a Golden Visa program targeted at private school educators living in the city. In a statement RAK Department of Knowledge (RAK DOK) stated that Educators are now eligible for golden visas: school administrators and teachers.
School Leaders consist of principals, vice principals, and school directors.
Teachers include all certified educators currently employed in private schools in Ras Al Khaimah.
The program enables dedicated professionals who meet certain requirements to obtain indefinite residency in the UAE through self-sponsorship.
Created to bring in and keep top-tier education professionals, the Golden Visa initiative targets educators like school principals, teachers, and educational leaders in Ras Al Khaimah.

RAK DOK, the authority for private sector education in Ras Al Khaimah, will streamline the application process to evaluate candidates using set criteria. This involves having at least three years of living and working in Ras Al Khaimah, holding a pertinent higher education degree, and showing a beneficial impact on their school’s achievements.

Teachers who meet the requirements can submit an application on the RAK DOK website, along with an official appointment letter, proof of their educational qualifications, documentation showing their residency and employment, and proof of their efforts to improve the school.
